Jody’s 30 years of experience in the business world, and all of the challenging and amazing lessons learned through managing and leading people, drove her with purpose to launch JodyLeadz. The JodyLeadz mission is to give back, mentor, challenge, and empower other individuals through their leadership journey.

Jody grew up on a farm, in a small community.  She was a competitive gymnast from the age of 5 until 18.  The aspects of growing up on a farm and applying herself to gymnastics taught her that hard work, grit and perseverance were all ingredients in reaching her goals and curating the life she wanted to live.

Jody continues to learn and grow and enjoys sharing strategies on how to balance being a mom, wife, volunteer in the community, and pursuing her own professional goals.  Jody’s drive to continually be a better version of herself daily pushes her to “Bring the Energy” for herself, her family, and her team in a big way and inspire those around her!

“Effectiveness in life does not come from focusing on what is automatic, easy, or natural for us. Rather, it is the result of how we consciously strive to meet life’s harder challenges, grow beyond our comforts, and deliberately work to overcome our biases and preferences, so that we may understand, love, serve, and lead others.”
- Brendon Burchard (High Performance Habits Book)

Find a quiet spot and sit down with a notepad and pen.  Ask yourself the following questions and write out whatever comes to you. Don’t over think, just let the thoughts flow.

This evaluation is the first step to beginning your personal growth and leadership journey.

1.  What does purposeful leadership mean to me?

2.  What am I doing well in leadership that I want to continue doing?

3.  What am I NOT doing, that if I started doing, would increase my effectiveness as a leader?

4.  If I were living MY Best Version of Life, what would that look like?
